Our Drivers
All transportation employees employed by Buckeye Transport Service have
been intensively and completely investigated with respect to their lifetime
driving histories. Applicants are carefully and selectively chosen and then
they are subjected to the rigorous training curriculum provided by our
Director of Safety.
Possessing a valid driver’s license issued by the
Ohio State Department of Motor Vehicles is not a
qualification with Buckeye Transport. Driver abstract
histories are fully investigated and then only after
passing a thorough background check which
includes an FBI fingerprint and a stringent
examination of their driver profiles are they then
allowed to participate in the approved Buckeye
Transport Service Driver Safety Training Program.
Many have sought employment at Buckeye Transport
Service and many have been turned away for not meeting the high
standards required by the company. Therefore, you can be assured of a
safe and comfortable ride with Buckeye Transport Service any time you
need dependable and safe transportation!

- All drivers are uniformed and have an ID displayed
- All drivers have passed drug, alcohol and background screening
- All drivers are CPR and First Aid Certified
- Drivers wait for the customer during Medical appointment (with prior
approval from Buckeye Management Staff) - All drivers undergo hazardous driving training
- All drivers receive training on how to transport persons with
disabilities including senior sensitivity training - All drivers must under a vigorous interview process
